When I received a request from the owner to review her site, The 15-Minute Dating Blog, I was a little reluctant because most dating sites are the same. However, Cindy mentioned that the blog included real, funny, dating stories from various authors. So, I checked it out.

How does it look?
All-in-all, The 15-Minute Dating Blog, is a pretty decent site. The design is a little basic and, compared to the actual dating site, could use some fixing up. There are a few typos (not that I’m one to talk) that need to be taken care of, and I would love to see a list of contributors on the About Page so that you know who writes for the site.

The Content
The 15-Minute Dating Blog is the counterpart to Cindy’s Speed Dating site. That’s right, an online, video dating service where singles can meet others from the comfort of their own home. And it’s short; dates end in 15-minutes, so no more suffering through a full night of annoyance.

The blog is a collaborative effort and includes dating advice, humorous dating experiences, and more. There a few entries like”Have You Ever Googled Your Date”, that point you to other articles on the web. But then there are great articles like “Things I Have Learned From Uncle Craig” in which author Colleen O’Brien set the lying creeps straight. And for the men, there is “Creepy MySpace Women with Free Electronics” warning you about the very attractive predators lurking on social networking sites.

While I’m not in the market, if I were, I would visit this site every day. It has great content and the concept is cool.
