Strength When You Need It
I recently finished Parent/Teacher Conferences and met a lot of parents who were recovering addicts. I am always impressed with people who have had the strength to kick addiction. As as society, I don’t think that we give enough credit to those who took the very difficult step to save their lives.
I have lost two family members because of their addictions to drugs and alcohol. They refused to go to drug rehabilitation, and because of their stubbornness, their lives were ruined. It is a shame too. They would have lead such wonderful lives.
