I’m Done. Here too.
I have been considering leaving my job. It’s not worth the money that we spend on childcare and transportation to work outside of the home any longer. Teachers don’t get paid half what they are worth, and teachers where I work get paid even less. The fact of the matter is that spending $1200 on childcare and transportation is rediculous when I have the skills and the drive to make money from home. I have been doing PR and designing web sites for a long time, since 1998- can you believe it? . While I am not as good as some (http://swankwebstyle.com), I think I have to skills, talent, and drive to start my own business.
My husband agrees. He has actually been telling me to do this for years and for some reason, I did not listen to him. I am now.
There are some things that will have to give. I am considering giving up this site. It has become a burden and is not contributing anything to the net. I want to start from scratch. Maybe I will go through and select the posts that I like and move them to a new blog. I don’t know. I do know that I have to take a step back from this because nothing seems to be making sense.
Any suggestions?
I own a VA business. You will have to give me a shout when your business is going. I may have some PR jobs for you.

And btw, having a blog is one of the best ways to get customers… I have a family blog and post my work from time to time, and that has been enough to get several customers a month with my blog.
