A few months ago I received the Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer with ExacTemp Technology , the Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-In Waterless Vaporizer, and the Vicks Germ Free UV Warm Mist Humidifier to help get us through the inevitable colds that we would endure.

My daughter and I are plagued with allergies and asthma. That makes us predisposed to battles with bronchitis and other respiratory ailments, and congestion. Mya, much like Mommy, gets very ornery when she is sick. The Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer with ExacTemp Technology makes taking her temperature simple and painless. We just simple put the tip in her ear, press the ExacTemp button on the back, and in less than one second, we know if she has a fever or not. The Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer with ExacTemp Technology is just as accurate as a rectal thermometer and is less daunting too use.

With all of the fear over the improper use of Vicks VapoRub, the Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-In Waterless Vaporizer is a great way to get the benefits of the soothing, congestion-combating power of Vicks VapoRub without any of the misuse. While I am still a fan of the good-ole-fashioned rub for myself and my husband, for my daughter the Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-In Waterless Vaporizer is the way to go.

And finally, the Vicks Germ Free UV Warm Mist Humidifier is by far the best humidifier that I have ever used. It is easy to clean, easy to fill, quiet, and the warm mist helps loosen the phelgm in both the chest and the nose.  My favorite feature, because we use it in my daughter’s room, is the soft-blue UV light that doubles as a night light (not sure if the people at Vicks meant to do this, but it works). While I have not used it with the Vicks Vicks VapoSteam Liquid Medication for Hot Steam Vaporizers, the cup  seems easy enough to fill and keep clean.

I have always trusted Vicks when I have been sick and now, I trust them to help sooth my daughter too.
