Bring it On You Coward
This comment was left on my Top 10 Reasons I Can’t Stand Oprah post. My response follows.
You are an idiot. She can’t build a school in North American because people would be suing her every five seconds. What’s wrong with Dr. Phil? People who like to read like recommendations from others. I’m not a sheep if I enjoy reading books recommended to me by someone. I like some of her picks; I don’t like others. But I appreciate that she makes them. What’s wrong with her having an opinion about something? If you think she’s supporting Obama just because he’s black, you really don’t know her at all. Her laugh? That’s a little like disliking someone’s eye color, but whatever. Kind of petty. There is nothing wrong with enjoying nice things. Because she was once poor she should never have anything nice now? That’s crazy? If you want some of that nice stuff, go out there and figure out a way to make it happen. If you don’t want it, that’s okay. But don’t get down on others because they do like nice things.
I did not realize that not liking Oprah was a personal attack against you. Sorry that you need to defend her. But you see, the nice thing about this being my blog is that I can write what ever I want and if you don’t like it, too damned bad. I do not need to justify my opinions to anyone. You’re right, I don’t know her. But news flash, neither do you- moron. You bought into an image that is probably just as phony as her relationship with Steadman. Oh and by the way, if you want to verbally attack someone online with an obnoxious comment, have the balls to actually leave your contact information and not some phony email address that bounces my emails back. Then, we can really have a debate, and I guarantee that you don’t have the verbal stamina to go head to head with me.
