100 Things About Me!

1. I love avocadoes.
2. I read very fast and although speed-reading can decrease comprehension, I remember and understand everything I read.
3. I am scared of clowns.
4. Lima beans and green peas disgust me.
5. So do cabbage and pigs feet.
6. I despise stereotypes.
7. I don’t like to be classified or categorized.
8. I love rules and discipline.
9. I think television has killed the imagination.
10. I like poetry because it challenges the imagination.
11. I write poetry. And erotica.
12. I don’t want/expect every one to like me.
13. In fact, I would think less of myself if everyone did.
14. Despite my strong opinions, people love to tell me their secrets.
15. I love to listen.
16. My friend Lorri calls me “Harriet the Spy”.
17. It’s true. I write everything down. And I do mean EVERYTHING.
18. I am an English Teacher.
19. Although most days I feel like a babysitter.
20. I do love teaching though and I eventually want to teach college.
21. I also love music: singing, writing lyrics, and playing the piano.
22. I should have stuck with the piano when I was younger. I would/could have been good.
23. I recently stopped pumping for my daughter. I made it 11 months and stopping was very difficult to stop.
24. My friend Themis calls me “Go, Go Gadget Daniele” because I love buying gadgets.
25. I am a geek and proud of it.
26. I am in a gang called “The Geek Squad.”
27. We have gang signs and an initiation.
28. You must be able to recite the Prologue to “Romeo and Juliet.”
29. Again, I am a geek.
30. Some people find me intimidating.
31. Most people who know me don’t.
32. I am highly opinionated.
33. I don’t have patience.
34. Stupidity is my pet peeve.
35. Or maybe it’s selfishness…I’m not sure.
36. I love Mac.
37. I am agnostic (look it up).
38. I believe organized religion is the death of spirituality.
39. I collect snow globes.
40. And antique books.
41. I crochet (although not as much as I would like).
42. I learned to knit but have never completed a piece.
43. I want to be a photographer.
44. Or an event planner.
45. Or a professional organizer.
46. OK, so I am still trying to find myself.
47. I love being a mom.
48. Mimi is the best gift I ever received.
49. Andrew is my soul mate.
50. I want to buy a house/condo/townhouse.
51. I want a Subaru Outback.
52. I plan to have a breast reduction as soon as I stop lactating.
53. I also need to lose almost 150 pounds.
54. I have already lost 50.
55. I have huge self-esteem issues.
56. Although most people would not know it.
57. I am a techno geek.
58. Most of my friends are on-line friends.
59. I don’t speak to many of my friends from childhood.
60. Except for Izzy.
61. I was a horrible person in high school and early on in college.
62. I have changed a lot.
63. And I am proud of myself.
64. I plan to tell my daughter that I am proud of her all the time.
65. I hope my daughter never goes through as much as I did.
66. I hope that she will not be tainted by the evil of the world.
67. I know that she will be better than I am. That’s a good thing!
68. My father died before I ever got the chance to tell him that I forgive him.
69. Sometimes, I will hear something or see something and it’s almost as if he is sitting next to me.
70. While I don’t get along with my sisters, I miss them and hate that they are so far away.
71. I wish our children could grow up together.
72. I want to move to California.

75. I have asthma and need to move to a place without humidity or pollen.
76. I am petrified of pregnancy.
77. Although I am kind of on the fence when it comes to having other children.
78. I really wanted to have twins: 1 boy, 1 girl.

80. I love swimming.
81. And ice skating.
82. And playing basketball.
83. As soon as I lose weight and get into shape I am going to join a basketball league.
84. I hope Mimi plays sports.
85. Although I will not force her too.
86. I am a feminist.
87. I am Pro-Choice and Pro-Life.
88. I believe stupidity should be punishable by death.
89. I think social-promotion is a ploy to keep the masses ignorant and poor.
90. I am all for the Socialization of Healthcare.
91. I am trying to make money through blogging.
92. I eventually want to WAH.
93. I could never be a SAHM.
94. I don’t like doing laundry.
95. I don’t like cleaning.
96. And while I will do them, I can’t imagine spending my days doing them.
97. I would love to home school Mimi though.
98. I am scared to send her to public schools.
99. I have nothing else left to say.
