Welcome. I'm Kristina and I write about a variety of topics on a variety of blogs. This is where all of those blogs meet, so feel free to choose one of the topics that follows to read more: homeschooling, paleo living, web design and social media, Daughters of Narcissistic Moms, creative writing , coloring and doodling , and more. I would love to connect with you too, so be sure to follow me on Twitter, Pinterest, Goodreads and Google+

13. Morning Freewrite

Part 1:  Write for five minutes about “morning”- whatever the word evokes for you. Try writing coninuously, without stopping, for the whole five minutes. It doesn’t matter if you write things that seems irrelevant or sound stupid to you; FREEWRITING is about letting your thought flow without editing them.

Part 2: After the five minutes, go back through what you’ve written, and pick out a few details that appeal to you. Write a poem using these details.

Part 1:

Coffee brewing while sleep moves from my eyes. The taste of mint burns the back of my throat and  reminds me that i am alive. A long day ahead. I hear the cooing of innocence over the monitor- a quiet “mama” calls to me- the days first smile is better than chocolate anyday. Dirty diapers can’t sour the pleasantries of the day ahead. But give me that cup of coffee now.
